Lenny Ganz RUMORS Omaha Players
The production is fortunate in having an actor as gifted as Richard Meier. He provides a calm, ironic center for the proceedings. Meier’s role is the linchpin of the show, and he carries it off beautifully. Lenny's whiplash injury, which keeps him grimacing and posturing, adds to the arch quality and oddly distracted tone that makes Meier's performance such a delight. His peevishness is the perfect vehicle for the generous number of one liners in Simon's script.
